"Yoga in Paradise was one of my most memorable weeks and
personal voyages. It was simply amazing. From the interesting people
of our group and the tranquility of Isla Mujeres to the sun and
warm ocean breeze.... all coming together as we did yoga in the
tree house. It was a week full of beautiful energy and
spirit, thanks to Jillian. I felt healthy and whole. I can't wait
until next year"-- Carol.

| GETTING
ENOUGH REST? |
|
Rest is an essential enzyme
of life. Yet in a world where overwork is seen as a professional
virtue, many of us feel we can legitimately be stopped only by physical
illness or collapse. This article offers some interesting ideas
for creating ways to find rest in our busy lives. http://www.innerself.com/Lifestyle_Changes/rest.htm. back

| SIMPLE
RESTORATIVE YOGA POSE TO DO AT HOME |
| Relaxing with
your legs elevated up a wall or on a chair may seem simple, but it
has incredible effects on your whole being! The pose helps calm the
mind and aids in headaches, digestion, elimination, insomnia and much
more. Doing it is simple: Lie flat on the floor and rest your legs
on a chair or up the wall. Take your time to make sure your body is
in a comfortable position. Gently stay aware of your breath as you
relax in the pose for 1-5 minutes. The more you practice; you can
increase your time up to 15 minutes. (Check with your doctor before
doing this exercise. Some reasons you may not want to so this pose
are - you are/have: Menstruating; Discharge or infections of the ear,
sinus infections and the flu (common colds are usually fine to invert);
Pregnant (unless you are a seasoned yogi or guided by a teacher);
intense pressure or discomfort in your head, eyes, ears, neck or throat;
Cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and or obesity; Diabetes and/or
insulin resistance; Glaucoma, detachment of the retina, or extreme
nearsightedness.) back
